Founded in 2009 as a joint venture enterprise based in New York and Toronto, the company has become an industry leader in development, physical production, financial structuring and distribution strategy.
In addition to developing and producing content, Monolith also provides advisory services to independent filmmakers.
Michael Goodin

Michael Goodin is an American film and television producer with over two decades of experience and 21 independent feature film credits. He is co-founder and managing member of Monolith Pictures, based in New York and Toronto. Goodin recently served as Executive Producer and Line Producer on the Berlinale-competing thriller Manodrome (starring Jesse Eisenberg and Adrien Brody) and produced the multi-award-winning The Legend of Juan Jose Mundo.
His television work includes Netflix’s Teletubbies 25th Anniversary series and I Woke Up a Vampire. Goodin also serves as Board President and CEO for the NYC non-profit theater company The AmericanVicarious.
Douglas Nyback

Douglas is an actor, screenwriter and producer with over ten years experience in the industry. A graduate of the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York, Douglas has written and co-written multiple screenplays and has worked extensively as a script advisor and story editor, most recently on Peter Cousin’s Freedom produced by Production One and starring Cuba Gooding Jr.
Douglas also brings extensive experience as an actor and acting coach. He has most recently wrapped two features Skin and The Dancing Dogs of Dombrova as well as recurring guest stars on SyFy’s Incorporated, People of Earth, Carter, and Amazon Prime’s American Gods.
Thomas Vencelides

Thomas has over 30 years production experience, beginning his career as a location manager for studio films as well as prime time television for studios such as NBC-Universal, Showtime, New Line Cinema, Lion’s Gate and Marvel Entertainment.
He then moved into production management, overseeing major theatrical productions including: Saw 5, Repo! The Genetic Opera, and Saw 3D: the Final Chapter and as a line producer for Cineflix Productions on a variety of programs for National Geographic, A&E and Discovery.
As part of High Park Entertainment Thomas produced the sci-fi series V-Wars for Netflix. He has since joined HPE full-time as Vice President, Head of Production, overseeing a slate of scripted and non-scripted projects.
